Why this image? That may be the first question you ask yourself when you come to this page, and I’ll tell you. I created this image because I FELT something from this image inside of me. I’ve been married for almost 6 years now, and have been capturing weddings, couples, and love over the span of the last 5. This image came from a place inside of self-love. I feel it is important within a relationship & outside of that individuality is retained, cared for & even cultivated. Becoming the best version of who you can be as a person will only make your relationships & connections be that much better. The saying goes “you can’t love others if you don’t love yourself.” While relationships, especially marital, ones are a joining & bonding of two people “becoming one;” I believe it is important to know yourself, to be yourself, and to love yourself both as deeply and as truly as you can and this will foster the type of interconnected love & connection you share with others.

I say all this to say that my Work may seem different & I hope that it is because I am different. You are different. We are all different. But my work comes from a place of FEELING. Whether it’s capturing the feeling of the emotion of a couple in love, or in a quiet moment alone by themselves, it’s how we feel that make us human and this is why I do what I do.
